Feedback/Reflection: One of the bigger comments I noticed was I was not describing my app as detailed as I should. I altered what I said for this elevator pitch to help give a better description of what my app is. Additionally, I gave the app a name- Speak to Heal. People felt my original felt personal and persuasive, so I attempted to keep the same emotions in this pitch. My apartment is not structured the best with mirrors everywhere, but in the original pitch people thought I was sitting when I wasn't. Therefore, I attempted to be more dynamic in my actions and have the camera further back. I think all the feedback is important and very valid to my elevator pitch. None of it really surprised me nor was it silly.

ReplyDeleteI think your elevator pitch has improved phenomenally! Your outfit looks great and I love that you are up and moving around. The opening lines really grabs the audiences attention and I'm glad you are confident enough to discuss your experience. This pitch was much more informative than the last one and I'm glad you gave it a name and discussed your funding. I am still having trouble on coming up with a name for my restaurant but I hope to have one by the next elevator pitch. Your organization is a wonderful idea and I hope you continue on with it.
Hey Meg! Compared to your last pitch, this one certainly hit the home run. You wore a great outfit, articulated a bit more and looked at the camera more. I also love the fact that you used physical cues with your hands to show the audience how interested you are. Great job at doing this! I also enjoyed how you provided more details about your product/service for more clarity.

ReplyDeleteI agree with what everyone is saying, you improved quite a lot compared to the last pitch. In this one it does appear that you are standing, the blazer gave the formal look, and the emotion on the delivery showed that you actually care about what you are saying. Same as before, good statistics and emphasis on how the app is going to work. Good job!
