I found your pitch to be both powerful and persuasive and I'm glad you had the courage to expose yourself as a victim. I am also 1 in 5 women and I immediately felt more connected with you. I wish you would have talked about the app a little more: the platform, how it works, etc. For next time, I think it's important that you aren't just sitting in front of your camera, but standing up and speaking as if you were seriously presenting to a board of directors. Overall, it was a powerful message, you're doing great.
Hey! I was actually standing up but in my room there's mirrors EVERYWHERE (my apartment complex, not me) and I didn't want weird reflections messing up the recording! :)
Hey Meg! Great job on this pitch. It was very compelling and explained your experience and reasoning for your app. I would reccommend recording your future pitches while standing. The enthusiasm was spectacular and the messaging was as well. I would also reccommend mentioning the costs/profits of your app and your target audience. Great job once again.
Hey Megan, I believe your pitch felt personal and persuasive, that could help a lot when convincing someone towards the app. I'm proud that you are able to stand up and find a solution for things we know is wrong in this world and still happen. The only thing I could recommend is to record from farther away so we can see you are standing. Everything else seems great!
Hey Meg, Your speech was extremely persuasive and passionate and those are huge things to have when you are in front of that room full of investors. I think it is awesome that you are standing up for not only an opportunity but a real cause and something that you feel so strongly about. I would maybe recommend talking just a little more about the app and what it can do so that people can make the connection more. Other than that awesome post and great idea.
